“The Constitution of RA stipulates that every citizen of RA who is not punished and is not bearing punishment at the moment has the right to take part in elections, form a political party, participate in the electoral campaign, vote and be elected. In other words it is only Gagik Tsarukyan’s right and he must decide whether to return to politics or not”, he said adding that in fact Gagik Tsarukyan hasn’t left the politics, therefore, to say that he has left it, isn’t appropriate. “Being an MP, Gagik Tsarukyan is involuntarily a politician and is in politics”, he said.
According to him, it’s difficult to say what people understand saying politics but today Gagik Tsarukyan is the person who has a rather solid reputation in the political arena and who can take part in elections even without joining any party. “Even if he forms another party he will be elected because his personal rating is so high that the created party can be elected due to his rating or can raise its rating up to Gagik Tsarukyan’s rating”, said Garnik Isagulyan also adding that Gagik Tsarukyan is really one of those politicians who has big chances.
