I was pleased to learn that the youth competition announced as part of the “Offer to Armenia” initiative has sparked strong interest. The competition’s slogan — “The best solutions come from young people” — speaks for itself and highlights the significance of this effort.
I also understand that many people, despite their enthusiasm, have been asking whether the competition will be fair. And indeed, our young people have every right to raise this question. They have witnessed injustice in many forms and across many years. Taking this into consideration, I want to give a direct answer: I guarantee the fairness of this competition, fully and unequivocally. A distinguished jury will be in place, and mechanisms have been designed to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the process.
This concern also led me to make several additional decisions. We have increased the prize fund, and beyond the entries selected by the jury, we have established additional awards for creative ideas and proposals. I also want to emphasize that all compelling ideas will be incorporated into the “Offer to Armenia” program.
To conclude, I want to stress that our country genuinely needs more justice — especially in these challenging times. One of the core principles of the “Offer to Armenia” initiative must be the creation of a state governed by fairness and by rules that apply equally to all.
