Construction of the monumental Jesus Christ statue complex at the summit of Mount Hatis is progressing steadily and at an intensive pace. Each day, hundreds of citizens, volunteers, and specialists from various fields make the ascent to the peak to contribute to this initiative of national significance.
Prominent Armenian bloggers with large audiences —young creators whose audiences extend well beyond Armenia’s borders—have also joined the effort. Their involvement can play an important role in bringing international visibility to this historic project.
I have often said, and will say again, that young people are the primary driving force behind our nation’s future. Their participation in large-scale initiatives is therefore especially valuable.
We also have influential Armenians around the world who can meaningfully contribute to any national undertaking.
