The first bottle of brandy commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

It is with profound joy that I share with you a moment of historical significance that took place today: the first bottle of brandy commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War has been released from the production line of the Ararat Yerevan Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory.
This brandy, crafted from the 1945 vintage, is part of an exclusive, strictly limited batch and is not intended for commercial sale.
Its release forms part of a series of commemorative initiatives we have undertaken to mark this milestone anniversary. The Armenian people made a vital and enduring contribution to this historic victory. Armenia and Artsakh gave the world distinguished servicemen, heroes, generals, and marshals. Our contribution to the victory is both significant and deeply meaningful.
We have a solemn duty to honor our heroes appropriately, to remember the decisive role our elder generation played in achieving this great victory, and to instill the value of their immortal legacy in future generations.
We, Armenians, fought shoulder to shoulder with our brother nations, shedding our blood to defend every inch of our homeland and uphold our honor.
We took part in the defense of Moscow, Minsk, Paris, and many other cities and nations. I emphasize this point because we must never allow ourselves to be divided or fragmented. We are one and indivisible
We are an integral part of a great and invaluable victory and we must take pride in it.
When the idea to produce a brandy dedicated to this historic occasion first emerged, I was convinced that every bottle should reach a worthy recipient:
1. I will present this brandy to Armenians—both in Armenia and throughout the diaspora—who are making meaningful contributions to our nation and people, and who uphold the honor and dignity of the Armenian identity.
2. I will also present it to representatives of various nations and states— true friends of the Armenian people and Republic — who, through their efforts, have contributed to the development and strengthening of Armenia and to the resolution of issues of national importance.
In the near future, this brandy will be shared across the world as a symbol of peace, solidarity, and the Armenian renaissance. By my express decision, the first bottles of this commemorative brandy will be delivered to the families of Armenian sons held in Baku prisons—as a gesture of solidarity and a resolute declaration of our commitment to doing everything possible to secure their freedom.
