Dear compatriots of Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora,
I heartily congratulate you on the 33rd anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The path to the establishment of our independent statehood was difficult and full of trials, for which our people paid an extremely high price. The borders of our state were drawn with the blood of thousands of our brothers, sons and children, and it is the collective duty and responsibility of all of us to keep those borders inviolable.
Today as well, the two Armenian republics are having hard times. Our brothers and sisters in the Republic of Artsakh have been under siege for about 9 months, fighting for the right to live and create in their historical homeland.
In these conditions, reconciliation inside the society is more important than ever, it is possible to overcome the difficulties that Armenia and Artsakh are facing now, only with national unity and effective management. Each of us in his own place and in his own way has to fulfill our obligation to leave an independent state and homeland to our generations.
No difficulty, no threat should shake our will to have an independent state and to have Armenian Artsakh.
God bless us all!
