“I am hopeful that the triple alliance will bring positive changes in the opposition field”, said MP Tigran Urikhanyan in a conversation with Aravot.am referring to the alliance of “Civil Contract”, “Bright Armenia” and “Republic” parties.
“I have always been a supporter of the consolidation of the opposition but, unfortunately, in many cases it can’t be an artificial process. Therefore, it is disgusting for me to talk about competitiveness among the opposition. No matter what kind of forces there are in the opposition field they must be loyal towards each other. If they aren’t it looks very artificial”, Tigran Urikhanyan noted. Commenting on the opinion that the authorities bring the former leader of the PAP, Gagik Tsarukyan, to create “a false opposition” Tigran Urikhanyan said, “If something is expected by tens of thousands of people then talking about false process isn’t right and correct”.
