Olympic champions were given a warm reception in Artsakh

The champions of the 31^st Rio Summer Olympic Games, Artur Alexanyan and Mihran Harutyunyan, silver medalists Gor Minasyan and Simon Martirosyan headed by the president of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, Gagik Tsarukyan, were in Artsakh from September 19 to 20. The athletes toured the historical sites of Artsakh, visited military units and met soldiers. On September 20 during the award ceremony on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of proclamation of NKR the president of Artsakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan, awarded ANOC President Gagik Tsarukyan the order of St. Mesrop Mashtots for services rendered to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The athletes who had stood out at the Rio Olympic Games were also given NKR awards.
